asleep when she answered the door. “’Ello pet. Can you sign for this please? Only I want to clock off early,” explained the delivery man. Melissa shrugged and signed. As she put the cardboard box on the floor, she heard a rustle from inside! She smiled and started tearing away tiny strips of cardboard, not wanting to do any damage to whatever lurked inside. Although she tried to hesitate, her hands kept tearing at the cardboard, but when she opened the box, she knew she’d done the right thing not stopping. It was a beautiful land with blue birds flying around… Last week, we actually gave out 3 class awards: Cailen and Curtis both achieved more than 20000 points on Mathletics, whilst Lara won the class design for Nick Sharratt's pants (see the previous post). Brilliant effort! In addition, most of the class got their first Bronze certificate in Mathletics! Well done - keep practising everyone! After serious internet problems this week, we are up and running again. On Tuesday we celebrated World Book Day with Nick Sharratt coming in to talk about, amongst other things, pants and socks! |
